Comment: The appearance of the dissonance of seconds in this performance is a rarity in South Slavs’ vocal traditions in Hungary. According to the positions of these seconds in the whole of two-part texture. They could be interpreted as a melodic and chordal “passing dissonance” with accompanied part in to the bass manner, and could not be regarded as an older, heterophonic or bourdon two-part vocal tradition (which, as we presume, the members of this South Slav group used to know about in their native regions in the Balkans).
