038. Kolo
Dialect: D
Topic: From Cradle to Grave
Reference: MZA-VT-AV-4.001B (02.30–04.15)
Title or Incipit: Kolo
Locality: Lakócsa/Lukovišće
Year: 1953
Recorded by: László K. Kovács
Comment: Performed by tambura orchestra and singers, recorded with the dance. – Vujičić announced the dance as kopogós kolo (from Hung. – kolo with throbbing to the ground with boots); since in Podravina the expression for throbbing is beating, regular term would be kolo with beating. Anyway, it is not about a special kolo, but only about specific dance motive (Andor Végh).
